Energy Dialogue

“Energy  Dialogue”, is a series of short duration focused discussions on critical energy issues. It provides an opportunity to interact with top energy experts. The dialogue is designed to facilitate a very comprehensive interaction between the speaker and the audience. It is evolving into a regular meeting point in the energy sector. We identify Energy Synergy Dialogue as a significant contribution towards “sustainable supply and use of energy” and we are committed to transform Energy Synergy Dialogue into a very useful forum through the participation of energy professionals.

Stakeholders’ Consultations on Demand Forecasting methodologies

Meetings were held under the leadership of Shri Rakesh Nath, Former Chairperson CEA. The discussion captured the gaps in the existing demand forecasting methodologies and development of an alternate methodology for the same.

Stakeholders’ Consultations on E-mobility

Meetings were held under the leadership of Mr. Seethapathy Chander, Former advisor, Asian Development Bank. The meetings had participation of battery & charger manufacturers, NTPC, EESL, BHEL, EV manufacturers, Car manufacturers and others.


NITI Aayog organised ‘MOVE’ Global Mobility Summit on 7-8 September, 2018 in Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

WEC India was associated as Knowledge Partner for the Summit and published a report titled "Zero Emission Vehicles: Towards a Policy Framework".

The Summit had the participation of Intergovernmental organisations, Global Leaders, international dignitaries, academia, policy think tanks from across the mobility sector. The idea behind organizing the MOVE Summit was to have the Mobility at the centre stage of the entire planning process and to bring the entire ecosystem together to shape the future of Mobility. 


WEC India HoCP Forum Meeting

Sixth meeting of the HOCP forum was organized on 21st Sep, 2017. The meeting was hosted by PTC India Limited. The meeting had participation of strategic planners from BPCL, DTL, HPCL, NLC, NTPC, ONGC, PGCIL, PTC India, REC, IOCL participated. Shri Deepak Amitabh, CMD, PTC India Limited also participated in the meeting.


Stakeholders' Meet on CHP (Combined Heat & Power - Cogen) / CCHP (Combined Cooling, Heat & Power-trigen)

 WEC India organized a Stakeholders’ Meet on "CHP (Combined Heat & Power - Cogen) / CCHP (Combined Cooling, Heat & Power-trigen) in Distributed Natural Gas based Generation" on 9th February 2017 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi,  with an objective of developing  a shared understanding of the market potential and possible business models such as ‘ESCO model’ and an assessment of such opportunities.

Discussions included sharing of experience from existing facilities, discussion on potential of this segment, business models; Gas infrastructure, availability and pricing; deployment options for best system efficiency, barriers and policy support among others.
