ABOUT WORLD ENERGY COUNCIL
World Energy Council (WEC) is a global body with Member Committees (MCs) across the world. It’s a global network of energy leaders and practitioners promoting sustainable supply & use of energy. WEC is an UN-accredited global energy body, with more than 3000 member organizations located in over 70 countries and drawn from governments, private and state corporations, academia and NGOs.
WEC hosts high-level events, conducts studies, publishes reports and works through its member network to facilitate energy policy dialogue. It is headquartered in London and works under a regionalized structure. The Council’s activities are coordinated through its secretariat in London.
WEC’s mission is “To promote sustainable supply and use of energy for the greatest benefit of all people.”
