About the Heads of Corporate Planning Meet
WEC India convened the HOCP Meet 2026 on 13 August 2026, bringing together Heads of Corporate Planning from major Public Sector Undertakings, large corporates and WEC India member organisations for a focused working forum on strategic planning in India’s energy and infrastructure sector.
The programme commenced with a Welcome Address by Shri Vivek Kumar Gupta, In-Charge, WEC India Secretariat, followed by Opening Remarks and Setting the Context by the Executive Director (Corporate Planning), NTPC and Executive Director, WEC India.
The Meet featured technical sessions led by Shri Gaurang Naik, Bain & Company, and Shri Devansh Gupta and Shri Antriksh, Microsoft. The sessions focused on key areas including India’s long-term energy security and strategic planning, Viksit Bharat and Net Zero, AI-enabled organisational memory, institutional knowledge management, and the role of emerging technologies in strengthening organisational memory.
The programme brought together corporate planning leadership from organisations including NTPC, ONGC, GAIL, Oil India Limited, Power Finance Corporation, NHPC, SECI, IOCL and other WEC India member organisations, providing a platform for strategic discussions, peer learning, knowledge sharing, and exchange of institutional practices on issues relevant to corporate planning and the evolving energy and infrastructure landscape in India.
