Job Description
Educational Background: A bachelor’s/post-graduate degree in Energy/ Economics/Environment from a recognized institute with knowledge of energy sector-specific policies and practices.

Experience:
· 1-2 years of experience in the energy and allied sectors as a Research Associate or Consultant.
· Experience in handling research projects and policy formulation/analysis in energy and allied domains.

Requirements:
· Knowledge of the energy sector, policy development processes, and governmental functioning is necessary.
· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
· Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication (written and oral) and collaboration skills.
· Knowledge of basic statistical concepts and the ability to handle large datasets.
· Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others; demonstrate flexibility in fulfilling assignments.
· Knowledge of data analytics and modelling tools is preferable.

Job Responsibilities:
· Conduct research (both primary and secondary).
· Maintain a database of energy-related data.
· Prepare research reports/papers on energy issues.
· Track up-to-date information on the energy sector.
· Conduct policy research and analysis in energy and allied sectors.
· Develop survey instruments and supervise data collection when required.
· Assist in organizing workshops, meetings, and stakeholder engagements.
· Contribute to the execution of assignments, including data and industry research, analysis, modelling, and report writing.
· Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
