Workshop on “Future of Energy: Global Hydrogen Perspectives & Strategies”
World Energy Council India (WEC India) organized a workshop on ‘Future of Energy: Global Hydrogen Perspectives & Strategies’ in association with the International Energy Agency (IEA) on 20th July 2021.
Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD, NTPC/Secretary General, WEC India, delivered the keynote address and shared his perspectives on the potential of Hydrogen in energy transition at the global level and for India. During the address, he also shared the Hydrogen initiatives of NTPC.
Dr. Timur Gül,the Head of Energy Technology Policy Division of IEA and Mr. Noé van Hulst, Chair of the IPHE and Advisor to IEA and Gasunie were the distinguished speakers at the workshop. Shri Mohit Bhargava, CEO (NTPC REL) moderated the sessions.
The workshop had senior level participation from organizations. CMD, Powergrid; CMD, BHEL; CMD, PFC; CMD, NPCIL and Chairman IOCL participated in the workshop. Around 140 stakeholders from across the energy sector attended the workshop.
