INDIA ENERGY CONGRESS

India Energy Congress(IEC), the flagship event of World Energy Council India (WEC India) is a unique and prestigious apex level energy dialogue platform. It was declared a Joint Event of Ministries of Power, Coal, New & Renewable Energy, Petroleum & Natural Gas, External Affairs and Department of Atomic Energy w.e.f. 6th edition held in 2015. IEC is a unique platform for national and international decision makers, experts across the energy industry to exchange views and share knowledge, expertise and experience.

WEC India functions under the patronage of Ministry of Power and with the support of Ministries in the energy sector and leading organisations in the sector. Leading energy sector organizations, Institutions and eminent energy professionals in the country are its members.

The 7th edition of India Energy Congress (IEC) was held on February 01st -02nd, 2018 in New Delhi, on the theme‘Energy 4.0- Energy Transition towards 2030″. Under the theme “Energy 4.0”, the 7th edition of IEC assumes greater significance in the context of grand transition in the global energy scenario. Over fifty eminent speakers led the discussions. Over 400 delegates from across the sector were in almost full attendance on both the days of the Congress. The feedback received from delegates were highly encouraging with high rating on coverage of issues and quality of discussions. The outcomes of the Congress could become useful inputs to Integrated Energy Planning and Coordinated action in the country.
