India Energy Stack 4 August 2025

WEC India, in collaboration with FSR Global, successfully organised an Introductory Session cum Discussions on the India Energy Stack (IES) on 4th August 2025. The session focused on the visionary initiative by the Ministry of Power to digitally transform India’s energy ecosystem through the development of a unified, secure, and interoperable digital infrastructure.

Hosted in hybrid mode, the session witnessed more than 367 active participants (over 40 stakeholders on-site and 327 online) from over 100 oganisations, reflecting the growing interest in shaping a tech-enabled power sector.

Key themes included Consumer & Asset Unique IDs, Open APIs for interoperability, Consent-based real-time data sharing, and Utility Intelligence Platforms—laying the groundwork for a smart, inclusive, and sustainable energy system.

We were honoured by the presence of Mrs. Sangeeta Kaushik (ED, Corporate Planning, NTPC), along with Ms. Swetha Ravi Kumar (Executive Director, FSR Global), as our esteemed guest speaker. Expert insights from Mr. Nagasrikanth and other contributors from FSR Global added great depth to the discussions.
