Joint Meeting of the Executive Committee and General Body of World Energy Council India (WEC India) FY 2024-25

The joint meeting of Executive Committee and General Body of World Energy Council India (WEC India) was held on 19th March 2025 under the chairmanship of Shri Pankaj Agarwal, Hon’ble Secretary (Power) & Chairman WEC India in Hybrid mode.

Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD NTPC & Secretary General WEC India along with leadership team of member organizations participated in the meeting. Ms. Sangeeta Kaushik ED (CP) NTPC & ED WEC India welcomed the dignitaries and shared the highlights of the WEC India engagements, followed by detailed presentation by Incharge WEC India Secretariat.

Major proceedings of the meeting comprised of deliberations on the outcomes of the WEC India study on ‘NET Zero by 2070’ for India; National Trilemma Index (NETI) framework and results of 2024 NETI. The set of dashboards developed by WEC India to aid data driven insights were also showcased during the meeting.

The meeting concluded with valuable guidance and future directions from Chairman WEC India and Secretary General WEC India.
