Seen as a valuable opportunity to facilitate larger participation, executives of Member Organisations can participate in the global study groups of WEC. The flagship studies include, World Energy Scenarios, and World Energy Trilemma.

Apart from Global studies, regional studies at the Asia Regional level also provide opportunity for participation at regional level. Experts from Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) and Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) were part of the Asia Regional study on “Best practices in GHG Reduction in the Asia Region”. Experts from CEA and WEC India were members of the in the Asia Regional Study on ‘Variable Renewable Integration’ recently concluded.
